Can someone please tell me which of the two Epcot entrances is closer to Via Napoli? We have a dinner reservation in December and will be park hopping with a toddler and would like to restrict unnecessary walking. Thank You

Hi there Karla, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

If you want pizza, Via Napoli is the place to go. We got the big ol' Mezzo Metro pie - basically the size of our table - and the three of us devoured it. I'm excited for you to give it a try!

The International Gateway entrance takes you directly into World Showcase so it's closest to the Italy pavilion, but you'll still have a bit of a walk to get there. If you're hopping over to Epcot from another Theme Park, you'll take a bus to Disney's Beach Club Resort, the closest Resort hotel to the International Gateway entrance. From the bus stop, you'll walk to the back of the resort, then another 5 minutes or so to the International Gateway. Once inside the Theme Park, take a right over the footbridge toward France, then walk about 5-10 minutes to Italy, halfway around the lagoon.

If you choose to enter Epcot at the main entrance, you can walk through Future World, then hop aboard a boat across the lagoon to the Italy pavilion. I think this route may actually mean a little less walking overall. Just be sure to leave yourself enough time to make your reservation in case you have a bit of a wait to board the boat.

I hope this helps with your planning, Karla. Enjoy that fabulous Italian fare, and do come see us again if you have any more questions.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
