I prefer booking my trips a year out because it helps spread out payments and avoid a large lump sum. One thing I love about vacations at Walt Disney World Resort, besides the
excellent benefits, is that you can book your vacation with a small deposit. Then you can pay the remainder throughout the year. It's like your own personal payment plan.
Packages for May 2027 have not been released yet. Typically, vacations for that timeframe are released in May 2026 if the same pattern is followed. I recommend checking the website between early spring and summer. This is not a guarantee, but this is when I would start looking. When available, you'll be able to book your trip and keep an eye out for
special offers that may become available throughout the year. Once you see a deal you like, you can
call Disney, and a Cast Member can assist you in adding that special to your current reservation. Who doesn't like saving money with their magic? Am I right?
So Jessica, I do hope this helps. May is a fantastic time to be at Walt Disney World Resort. Since you have the year, I highly recommend getting familiar with everything available to you in that timeframe. My favorite is the
