Can someone please help me to understand what are exactly the blackout dates? Thank you

    Hi Madalina!

The blackout dates (as known as blockout dates) typically apply to those Guests who are Annual Passholders, specifically the Disney Gold Pass, Disney Silver Pass and the Disney Select Pass. Depending on what Annual Pass is purchased, there are days which the Guests cannot use their Annual Pass for admission to the Theme Parks. If you are currently an Annual Passholder or are exploring the different options and would like to see the blockout dates for 2016, I recommend that you check out this page: Annual Pass Options. Under each pass description, you will find a link that says "View blockout dates" for that particular pass. A pop-up window will open with a calendar containing the dates.  The block-out dates may also apply to special promotional tickets such as the Florida Resident Discover Disney Tickets, which have blockout dates as well. For more information on those tickets and blockout dates, please visit this page: Theme Park Tickets. The single-day or multi-day tickets do not have block-out dates

I hope this answers your question Madalina.  It has been a pleasure assisting you! Please feel free to send in any other questions you may have.
