Can someone please explain the Halloween party details with a bit more granularity then is available on the site? What is the advantage to buying the party tickets vs just being there for the day? What area of the part is the party within?

    Hi Karen!

I can appreciate your questioning why would it be worth an extra party ticket over just enjoying the park during the day.

The Disneyland Mickey's Halloween Party is a fun filled night and many guests prefer to just purchase that ticket. Guests are allowed into the park three hours early and the party itself is four hours giving them 7 hours of fun. Once the party begins all non ticket guests will need to leave the Disneyland park. Trick or treat stations will pop up throughout the entire park which gives the party guests such a great experience with far less crowds then on a normal park day. Almost every attraction is open so lines are minimal. Many of the food locations will also be open.

Party guests will also see the Halloween parade and fireworks which are exclusive to the parties. Special and not often seen characters will also make some appearances for meet and greets and this is the only time you can enjoy this. Special merchandise is available only during the party hours as well.

This year guests who have the party ticket can also wander over to the California Adventure park although that is open to all guests and not closed to just party ticket holders.

I hope this gives you a bit more information. It is a great time to enjoy the park without the normal crowds and with a flair of some holiday spirit!
