Can someone please call me to plan a trip for 8 7/14 to 7/21? Thank you so much!

    Hey there, April!

Thanks for stopping in to planDisney, where we're always eager to share personal ideas and insights from our Disney vacations to help you make your best plans for a Disney trip!

April, I would absolutely love to give you a call, chat you up about all things Walt Disney World Resort (always a favorite topic of conversation for me), and make recommendations for your trip. When it comes to booking your trip, though, the people you really want to speak with are the friendly Cast Members at the Walt Disney Travel Company. I'm confident they'd love to speak with you when you give them a call at (407) 939-7675.

Before you call to book your trip, you might want to get some ideas on where you can "Stay in the Magic" by previewing the Disney Resorts Collection. Depending on how many adults and how many children make up your travel party of eight, you might want to consider an accommodation like a 2 Bedroom Villa. A 2 Bedroom Villa typically can sleep up to eight adults and offers lots of spacious at-home comfort with separate bedrooms, a living room space, a full kitchen, and washer and dryer. Of course, you might also want to consider a multiple room reservations.

You'll also want to give some thought to how many days you'd like to visit the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. This will give you an idea of how many days you'll want for your theme park tickets. You might be in the "let's play in the parks every day" camp, or you might be in the "let's mix our play in the parks with relaxing Resort days" camp. No matter which camp you're in, you're sure to enjoy the Disney magic.

If you'd like, April, you can book your vacation package yourself online using the "Book your Walt Disney World Vacation today" planning and booking tools. The booking tools will guide you through choosing your Resort accommodations and purchasing your theme park tickets.

One really important planning step, April, is that you'll want to make your theme park reservations using the Disney Park Pass system. It's helpful to first take a look at the Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar just to make sure that the theme parks you want to visit have reservations available for the days you want to visit.

April, once you start to get your plans going, you might find you have some questions and might welcome some recommendations on must-do experiences, must-savor foods, and must-see attractions. We welcome your questions and we're here to help you with suggestions for your plans.

Here's to your wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
