Hello. Someone from my party may not make our trip in January. Would it be possible to use their ticket to extend everyone else’s trip by 1 day?

Hello and welcome to planDisney, Daniel! Thank you for visiting and bringing us your question.

It's so exciting to hear that your trip to the Disneyland Resort is almost here! I can't think of a better way to kick off 2025. If you're planning to experience the Holidays at the Theme Parks, be sure to visit before January 6th to enjoy this magical season! Check out the Disney Parks Blog for all the details on festive entertainment, seasonal food and drink offerings, and so much more.

Regarding your question, unfortunately, a Theme Park Ticket cannot be used to extend the duration of another person’s visit. With your trip quickly approaching, I highly recommend contacting the Tickets phone line to speak with a Cast Member about your options. The good news about standard theme park tickets is that they are valid for about a year after purchase. You can even apply the value of an unused ticket toward the purchase of a new ticket of equal or greater price, even after it has expired.

Before your arrival, make sure to download and explore the Disneyland App. You'll use the app to enter the parks, check attraction wait times, and place Mobile Orders for food and drinks--just to name a few of its features!

Daniel, I hope this helps. Please don't hesitate to return if you have any other questions. I wish you the happiest trip!

    Your Pal,
    Alejandra
