What if someone in your party doesn't use all their fastpass selections on a given day? Does that mean that the rest of the party cannot make new selections after their initial three have been used?

Hello Gina, and thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great question.

FastPass+ is a real time saver for me and my family when we visit the Walt Disney World Resort. It allows us to spend less time waiting in the Standby line for some of our favorite rides and attractions. When it comes to planning our FastPass+ selections, it is hard to anticipate how our day will actually unfold. In the event that someone in your party is unable to use all three of their initial FastPass+, they will be unable to obtain a fourth FastPass+ selection, if available, until the time has expired from their original FastPasses. However, this would not keep the rest of your party from selecting a fourth FastPass+ experience.

For example, if your family had the following FastPass+ experiences booked: Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at 9:00 a.m., Peter Pan’s Flight at 10:15 a.m., and Haunted Mansion at 11:30 a.m. At the last minute, someone decides they do not want to visit the 999 happy haunts at the Haunted Mansion and the rest of the family redeems their FastPass+ at 11:30 a.m. You would be able to create a FastPass+ party, to explore availability for everyone except the person who did not ride. They would only be able to explore availability for another FastPass+ experience after the window for Haunted Mansion has expired at 12:30 p.m. You can always cancel or modify a FastPass+ experience before it begins in the My Disney Experience app from your smartphone or tablet device. If you have any more questions before you arrive, please come back and visit us again.
