Can someone park at the grand flridian to see gingerbread house

    Welcome to planDisney, Janet!

As a local myself, I love driving over to the Disney Resorts Collection hotels to do some shopping and dine at the most amazing restaurants (Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge and Narcoosee’s at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa have my heart). Let’s get into how you can lay your eyes on that beautiful gingerbread house this holiday season.

Important to note: If you self-park at any of the Disney Resorts Collection hotels, it is 100% complimentary. However, the best way to guarantee that you can park there as a Guest who is not staying at the hotel is to have an advance dining reservation for one of its restaurants. On multiple occasions, I’ve even been able to park with the goal of shopping, but the hotels with holiday displays get very busy around this time of year.

With that being said, consider parking in the Magic Kingdom Park parking lot, which has a fee unless you are staying at a hotel or are an Annual Passholder. From there, walk to the Transportation & Ticket Center and take the free Disney Resort Monorail over to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. Also, if you do it that way, you can park for a longer amount of time. At times, the hotel parking lot attendants give visitors a time limit. For example, I have received a 3-hour limit sign to place on my car’s dashboard at the Grand Floridian.

Janet, I hope that you have the Most Magical visit this week! Please give us a holler here at planDisney if you have any other questions about making the most of your vacations and day trips. See you real soon!

    Magic always,
