Someone just mentioned to me that they were scheduled for a VIP Tour. I hear it is pricey. Has anyone from the mom's panel ever taken one and is it worth the $$. Thanks

Hi, Lucy!  I have been fortunate enough to be part of a group that used a VIP tour guide on a day at the Magic Kingdom.  A person could get spoiled seeing the theme park this way!

The big advantage that a VIP guide is they know where to go to which attraction so that they minimize your wait time for everything.  They also will go while you are enjoying one thing to get Fast Passes for something else.  You really do find that with their expertise and knowledge of the Walt Disney World theme parks that your day goes very smoothly, you can usually see everything on your must do list, and your wait time is shorter.

Is it worth the money?  Well, you're talking to a mom who would rather spend all of my money on souvenirs for the kids, but I have to say it depends.  If you are planning to visit during a particularly busy time (the summer or during a holiday period), or if the time you have to see everything is limited, I could not think of a more valuable addition to your vacation than to have a VIP tour planned for you.  You are likely to see more of what you want to see.  If you are not going during a busy time, or if you are the type of vacationer who likes to go at a slow, leisurely pace, it may not be the best investment for you.

If money were no object on a vacation, I would definitely utilize the VIP Services offered at Walt Disney World.  I think this is the best way to see and do the majority of things you want in the amount of time you have.

I hope you have a great vacation!
