    Can someone else use my magic band? For instance if I purchased a annual pass and am staying on Disney property can another person use my band for admission into a park? How do they know if the band you are using is assigned to you?

    Congratulations on being a Walt Disney World® Resort Annual Passholder! It really is the key to unlocking all the magic Walt Disney World® has to offer. And the great discounts you can get on accommodations, food, entertainment and merchandise are great perks, too! 

    When it comes to use of your Annual Pass, that is reserved for only you! If you were to try and grant theme park access to any one other than yourself, you run the risk of having your pass confiscated. Once a guest scans their annual pass, whether a card or Magic Band, fingerprint technology is than used to ensure they are the actual passholder. If the fingerprint does not match the guest, identification will then be required.
