Hey there, Dana, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by the panel with your question! It’s great to see you here because today is the perfect day to start
planning your Walt Disney World Vacation! Not that there is ever a bad time to start planning a vacation.
Dana, there are two primary avenues to receive hands-on assistance with planning your Disney Vacation: a Disney Reservations Cast Member or an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. Authorized Disney Vacation Planners can assist and provide detailed recommendations for your vacations. Vacation Planners are typically seasoned Disney aficionados who can provide suggestions down to the best meal at each restaurant! That may be a bit dramatic but they do have tons of experience with the resort. If you choose to go with an Authorized Planner, I recommend polling your circle of family and friends for recommendations. If you are unable to find any suggestions through your circle, I suggest performing a quick web search for an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. This search will provide several qualified planners to assist with your trip! The best part is that they provide their services at no additional cost to you!
Another option is to book your trip reservation with a
Walt Disney World Cast Member. Walt Disney World Cast Members will be able to perform all of the duties that the Vacation Planner mentioned above provides. However, they may not have as much detailed feedback from previous Guest trips as the vacation planner. When preparing to call the Cast Member, it’s helpful to understand your desired travel dates, vacation budget, party size, etc. Having the answers to these questions will streamline your conversation with the Cast Member. In either case, you’ll be in great hands to ensure your trip is extra special!
If you ultimately decide to voyage into the Disney Vacation Planning independently,
remember that the planDisney panel is always here to help! We are more than happy to answer any questions you may have and ensure you are empowered with the information you need to have the best vacation possible!
I hope this helps, Dana!
Until Next Time,
PG
