Hi Denise,
Welcome to planDisney! I’m glad you stopped by with your question. Here at planDisney, we’re real Guests who’ve been in your shoes and are here to help you plan the most magical vacation possible. While Walt Disney World Resort doesn’t offer traditional travel agent services to plan and book every aspect of your trip, they do provide you with fantastic resources, like us at planDisney, to guide you every step of the way.
Let’s dive right into some key things to consider as you start planning your visit.
First stop: the Disney Vacation Planning Tool. This user-friendly guide will walk you through the big decisions, like selecting your Disney Resorts Collection hotel, choosing the right theme park tickets for your group, deciding whether one of the Disney dining plans (Quick-Service or Table-Service) fits your needs, and even adding extras like Memory Maker to capture all those magical moments. It’s the closest thing to having a personal travel planner right at your fingertips!
But as Princess Tiana says, let’s dig a little deeper.
With your group size, resort accommodations are one of the most important decisions. Disney Resorts Collection hotels come in three categories:
- Value Resorts like Disney’s Art of Animation or Pop Century offer fun theming and budget-friendly pricing.
- Moderate Resorts such as Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort strike a great balance between cost and amenities.
- Deluxe Resorts offer more upscale accommodations, proximity to the parks, and luxurious extras.
Now, with seven Guests, you’ll likely want either two standard rooms (you can request that they be adjoining or nearby, though that’s not guaranteed) or explore the Deluxe Villa options. Villas come in 1-, 2-, and even 3-Bedroom layouts and are a wonderful option for larger groups. These come equipped with full kitchens, multiple bathrooms, and even a washer and dryer. Perfect for a family who wants to spread out and feel at home during their stay.
Denise, I wish I had more space to cover everything, but if this hasn’t given you all the warm and fuzzies about booking your Walt Disney World vacation just yet, please come back and visit me again at planDisney! I’d love to help you explore the different theme park ticket options, dive into the two dining plans, recommend my favorite dining reservations to grab at the 60-day mark, and explain how Lightning Lane passes can help you spend less time in line and more time soaking up the magic.
TTFN (ta-ta for now),
Brent
