Is there someone to help me plan my one week visit with 8-10 adults and 7 children?

    Hi, Vickie!

Welcome to planDisney, and thanks for sharing your plans with us. It's an honor to help you today!

Planning a trip for such a big group will be a little complex, and I think a travel agent could be a great partner to support you. Many travel agents specialize in Disney trips, and they're great for booking and planning multi-room trips!

If you'd like to book directly, you can also look into booking packages for each family unit, for example. A package will include hotel reservations and tickets, covering the bulk of the planning you must do in advance. I recommend choosing a hotel with great leisure options because your group will need a restful day (or two!) in the middle of the week.

You can choose between the classic Disneyland Hotel, the luxurious Disney's Grand Californian Resort & Spa, or Disney's Paradise Pier. Since you're coming with a big group, I'd prefer the Disneyland Hotel or Disney's Grand Californian Resort & Spa. The food at Disney's Grand Californian Resort & Spa is extraordinary, and no hotel can beat its location for some downtime in the middle of your week. You will find pools, a magnificent spa, shops, and plenty of dining options to help your group recover from the fun at the theme parks!

After selecting your hotel, you'll choose between One Park Per Day or Park Hopper tickets. Hoppers will allow you to visit the two parks on the same day, and they're perfect for Guests who like to be more spontaneous and go back and forth between favorite spots and attractions, for example. The two parks are so close that it won't even feel like hopping!

After booking your package, you will then move on to make park reservations and dining reservations (which are the tastiest part of the planning process). Since you're coming in such a big team, it's essential to make your dining reservations precisely 60 days in advance, and you may have to break down your group into smaller tables of six or eight at some of the most coveted spots. If you want some recommendations for quick service or table service restaurants, we can help you here!

Please don't hesitate to come back with more questions as you move forward in your planning journey, Vickie. We will be here to help you!

May the magic be with you,

    Julie
