How can I get someone from “My other family & friends” switched over to “We’re planning together”

    Hiya Janel!

Welcome to planDisney! What a great question! I did not know that there were two sections in the Family & Friends List until you pointed it out. It appears to be most noticeable when viewed on the My Disney Experience Mobile App.

I did some investigating and found out that those people in the "We're Planning Together" section are those with confirmed reservations with me. For example, I have a hotel reservation with the three other members of my family and they all appear with me in the "We're Planning Together" area. I just created a plan to have my brother join me at a viewing of Happily Ever After and he now moved from the "My Other Family & Friends" area to the "We're Planning Together" spot. (He does not know we have these plans yet) Now, don't fret Janel! Your entire Family & Friends List is accessible to you for planning purposes such as for Virtual Queues, Lightning Lane reservations, and dining reservations. Once a plan is made you will see people get promoted to the planning group! Just make sure you let them know you included them in the plans, unlike myself.

I can't wait to try to convince my brother to join me at Walt Disney World Resort! Happily Ever After is a great nighttime spectacular and if I push hard enough maybe I can get him to join me at the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Party! Sweet treats, cheese, fireworks, and family sounds like a perfect evening.

I hope this helps! Happy Planning!

So "give a little whistle" and let me be your guide! Learn More About Nimmy
