Can someone explain to me why a 3 day 3 park ticket does NOT include MK? We plan to go to MK, HS and AK. How do I purchase a 3 day to include MK?

Hey there, Sandy. Welcome to planDisney!

Planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort is exciting but can also be challenging, given all of the different options at your disposal to tailor your vacation specifically to you and your family’s needs. From choosing the perfect Disney Resorts Collection hotel to securing the best dining reservation featuring your favorite Disney Characters, there are many decisions to make. One of the most difficult decisions is how many days you want to visit the Theme Parks, which Theme Parks to go to (hint: all of them), and whether or not you want the flexibility to enjoy multiple Theme Parks on the same day. The choices are virtually endless!

Sandy, the Special 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket to Disney’s Hollywood Studios, EPCOT, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom is a current Special Offer, Deals & Discounts offered to Guests for visits through September 24, 2024. If this ticket isn’t for you or you are visiting after September 24th, Hakuna Matata, you can always purchase a standard date-based ticket!

Start by heading to the Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets site. Scroll down to the Theme Park Ticket box located below the two current specials delineated by the green “Special Offer” banner and click the blue “Continue” button. On the following page, you will select the number of days you will visit and then the day you first plan on visiting the Theme Parks on the calendar. You will notice that with a 3-Day ticket, you will have a window of five days to use your three visits, which is a huge benefit in the event you want to enjoy a day lounging by the pool or if the weather isn’t looking too pleasant. Next, you will select the type of ticket you would like:

    • 1 Park Per Day – visit one theme park each day of your ticket.
    • Water Park and Sports Option – visit one theme park per day plus a certain number of visits to a water park or other Disney World fun.
    • Park Hopper Option – visit multiple theme parks each day.
    • Park Hopper Option Plus – visit multiple theme parks each day of your ticket plus a certain number of visits to a water park or other Disney World fun.

Finally, you will choose the number of adult tickets (Ages 10+) and children’s tickets (Ages 3-9) and then check out.

I personally suggest adding the Park Hopper Option to our tickets because I like the flexibility of starting at one park in the morning and switching to another later in the afternoon after enjoying a mid-day pool break at our resort. If you have any more questions about your park tickets, would like ideas on planning your days in the parks, or would like dining suggestions for each park, let me know!

    See you real soon,
    Brent
