Sarah welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
What I love about the
Disney Dining Plans is not having to worry how much we are spending on meals while on vacation. While using my dining credits, I don’t have to look at the prices and guilt myself into getting the salad when what I really want is the steak. With the Disney Dining Plan I feel like a VIP! My family has gotten both the Quick-Service and the regular Dining Plans in the past. They have always been more than enough food for our family. If you or your husband to be has a larger appetite, you may want to look into the Deluxe, Premium, or Platinum Dining Plan
Let’s say you have the standard Disney Dining Plan. For each night of your stay, you would be given one counter service meal, one table service meal, and one snack to be used as you please. The table service meals offer a lot of food, so only having 2 meals a day is still enough for me. At each meal you are able to pick one entree, one non-alcoholic beverage, and one dessert. Each time you use a credit you will get a receipt showing what you have left.
I strongly recommend making Advanced Dining reservations for Table Service restaurants 180 days in advance. Some Table Service restaurants require using 2 of your Table Service credits. We usually fly in late our first day, and do not use any of our credits that first night. Therefore, we usually have one extra credit that we can use for a 2 credit meal.
As for using your snack credits, keep your eye out for the purple and white checkered Dining Plan snack symbol. I have another post about some of the
exciting snack options available to you.
Happy Planning, Sarah!
