Can someone explain the difference between the Animal Kingdom Jambo, Kidani and the Lodge? Are they the same hotel just different floors? I'm confused!

    Hi Brooke,

I stayed at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge just a few weeks ago so I'd be happy to explain the difference between Jambo House and Kidani Village to you.  Together, Jambo House and Kidani Village comprise Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Jambo House and Kidani Village are separate buildings.  Jambo House refers to the main Lodge building.  In addition to concierge level and regular hotel rooms, you will find the restaurants Boma and Jiko here.  The cavernous, beautifully decorated lobby is amazing!

Kidani Village is the newer, smaller building built recently by the Disney Vacation Club to the left of Jambo House.  It is only a five-minute walk or very short bus ride from Jambo House.  Accommodations in Kidani Village are comprised of deluxe studios, one-, two-, and three-bedroom villas.  The delicious new restaurant, Sanaa, is found on the ground floor of this building.

If there's anything else you'd like to know, feel free to post additional questions.
