For someone who has done the Marceline to Magic Kingdom tour... Do you believe this tour would appeal to teenagers?

    Hi Jill,

I'm a huge fan of the guided tours offered at Walt Disney World, so I was really happy to see your question.

The short answer is: Yes, I definitely think the Marceline to Magic Kingdom Tour would be a great experience for a teenager!

One neat thing about this tour is that it's reasonably brief (about 2.5 hours long) compared to some of the more extensive guided tours (e.g. the 7-hour Backstage Magic Tour). The other neat thing is that the stories told by the tour guides will help a teenager realize that there's way more to appreciate about Walt Disney World than the fun attractions.

Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

Have your teenager do a little homework before experiencing this tour.

(WHAT? Homework before going on vacation??)

If your teenager reads at least one book about Walt Disney prior to taking this tour, it will really enhance their experience. This may sound counterintuitive, but the Marceline to Magic Kingdom Tour just briefly touches on Walt Disney's life story. By having a chance to read about him before the tour, the experience of hearing the stories, seeing the sights, and enjoying the attractions while on the tour will have much more impact.

It goes without saying that Walt Disney was an amazing man. I hope that an experience like the Marceline to Magic Kingdom Tour will open your teenager's eyes to Mr. Disney's inspirational story.

I hope that helps! Please feel free to write back if you should have any additional questions and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can.

    Best regards,
    Derek
