Hello Nicholas!
I’ve heard so many exciting things about
Space 220 over the past few days! It looks like a truly out-of-this-world experience! As often tends to happen with new experiences at the
Walt Disney World Resort though, it can be tough to secure a reservation.
Advance Dining Reservations are available to all Guests, including those with disabilities. The restaurant is ADA compliant and accessible! Please know that the
Disability Access Service (DAS) Pass for attractions offers assistance for Guests who are unable to wait in line due to their disability, but it doesn’t bump Guests to the front of the line or give them access to an attraction that isn't available to others. While there are accommodations at the restaurant itself such as accessibility and special menus, there are no separate reservations for Guests with disabilities.
Reservations are available 60 days in advance of the day you wish to dine if you are staying off property. Guests staying at a
Disney Resort Collection Hotel may make dining reservations for the length of their stay, up to 10 days, beginning 60 days before check-in! This is one of the great perks of staying at a Disney Resort Collection Hotel. If you are staying at a Disney Resort Collection Hotel and are looking for a popular reservation like Space 220, you should look to book it as late in your stay as possible. This could mean you can book it 66 or 67 days out, rather than just 60, and increase your odds of snagging a reservation. For Guests who are staying off-property, know that it is indeed possible that by the time 60 days rolls around, reservations at the most popular locations may already be booked.
If you are unable to secure the reservation you are hoping for, don’t give up hope completely! Other Guests can and do cancel, especially in the days leading up to the reservation. I would continue to check
My Disney Experience regularly as you never know what might pop up. And while they may not be the newest locations, don’t forget there are many other delightful and delicious options around and near Epcot. I love the filet at
Le Cellier, and while it is technically outside Epcot,
Yachtsman Steakhouse is just a short trip out the International Gateway and their food is amazing! Also at Disney’s Yacht Club, I highly recommend
Ale & Compass for a wonderful meal.
Sending you pixie dust for that perfect reservation, Nicholas. Keep checking, and I’m sure you’ll have an amazing and special experience wherever you end up.
