    Hi! If someone booked a trip under my name but not my account I use for my disney experience, is there a way to fix that and put my correct account? Thank you!

    Welcome to planDisney! I appreciate you stopping by with an important planning question. I am so excited to hear that you will be visiting the Walt Disney World Resort soon. I cannot think of a better time to visit, since the 50th Anniversary Celebration is still going on. There are so many new experiences that have been created for Guests, just for the celebration. One of my favorites is Disney’s Fab 50 Character Collection. When you visit the parks you will find 50 of these golden sculptures on display for your enjoyment. They make great photo ops and they are already posed for the perfect selfie. 

    It sounds like someone who is planning an upcoming trip has added you to their plans without inviting you to connect to their My Friends & Family list. I would be happy to walk you through the steps to correct this issue. You will want to contact the friend or family member who has booked this trip, I am going to refer to them as “the planner,” and have them update your information on their Family & Friends list. The planner must follow these steps to connect your current account.

    1. Sign in to My Disney Experience and click on the My Family & Friends tab.
    2. Scroll to your name and click the word Update next to it. 
    3. Enter the email address that you use to log into your My Disney Experience account and click Next

    You will receive an email notification with an invitation to connect. Click Accept in the email and you will be prompted to log in to your account. Once you accept the invite, both accounts will be linked together. All plans, tickets, and reservations made by the planner will now appear in your My Disney Experience account. This will also allow you to use any active MagicBands or cards on your upcoming trip. If you are going to purchase a Memory Maker, make sure that everyone is sharing their PhotoPass Photos in the Family & Friends list. This will allow you to share a Memory Maker with your family and capture everyone’s photos. You can download, share, post, and print your photos with everyone too.
