Hello, Leanne,
I’m so sorry to hear your friend became ill. I hope they recover soon.
When purchasing regular Disneyland Resort
theme park tickets, a specific Guest name is typically associated with each ticket. That name will show up in the
Disneyland app if that ticket is linked to the Disneyland Resort account signed in the app. Though it is usually understood that the name with the ticket matches the name of the Guest using the ticket. However, the name is there for convenience in aligning Guests with their tickets and it is not required that they match.
The most important thing to remember is that once a ticket has been used for the first time, it is
non-transferable from that point on. Even if the name tied to the ticket in the app does not happen to match the Guest, the ticket must be used by the same Guest each time it is used.
That’s how things usually work for regular tickets. As for specific complimentary tickets, different rules may apply. I recommend starting by carefully reading the fine print that may be on the physical ticket. If further clarification is needed, please consult a Cast Member at a Main Entrance Ticket Booth or
call the ticket information line.
I hope you have a magical time at the Disneyland Resort, Leanne. We would be happy to help with any other questions you may have. Please feel free to stop by the Disney Parks Moms Panel again.
