Hey, Victoria, and welcome to planDisney. I see more and more service animals every time I visit the "Place Where Dreams Come True." It makes me wonder whether the service animal is also requesting some time to see Mickey and the rest of the Fab Five. There is a fabulous guide to service animals in the theme parks and be aware of the service dog relief areas.Solo with a service animal is entirely manageable. There are attractions at each theme park where service animals are not permitted to ride (for their safety) and typically have a kennel so your animal can relax while you ride. Cast Members will not take control or watch your furry companion. For the attractions they can go on, your service animal will need to stay on the floor of the vehicle, in your lap, or even in a baby carrier. I recommend you ask a Cast Member what options are available at the entrance to every attraction. Here are the attractions where service animals may need the kennel or Rider Switch:Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park
