Aloha, Sandra! Welcome back to planDisney! We're always happy to see a member of our 'ohana come by for another visit. Was
Aulani everything I've heard it is? Living in Florida, I'm surrounded by sun and sand, but there's just something about the exotic islands of Hawai'i that I'd love to experience someday. Definitely a bucket list item for me!
Back here on the mainland, you must be getting excited for your Walt Disney World Resort adventure! Even though you'll be solo, you can still put yourself in the picture with Disney's PhotoPass service. Right now, as the
phased reopening of the parks and resorts continues, Disney's stated policy is that
"PhotoPass photographers will not handle Guests’ personal devices such as cellphones and cameras." But don't worry, Sandra! You're still the star of this show! You can pose for the PhotoPass cameras all over the parks and view your shots in your
My Disney Experience app. Then, you can purchase the shots you love individually if you like. But if you think you'll want to save all of those memories, you can opt for
Memory Maker, and every single photo, including the onboard ride photos and videos, are yours to download and keep forever. After all, photos are the best souvenirs!
Sandra, Disney has another fun way to capture those magical moments. In fact, it's called "Capture Your Moment," and it's a 20-minute session with a Disney PhotoPass photographer at either the
Magic Kingdom Park or
Disney's Animal Kingdom Park. It's perfect for a milestone celebration, but I think a solo trip to Walt Disney World is reason enough to celebrate! You'll need to reserve your session in advance, so check out the info and get ready to smile for your own personal photographer.
I hope this helps you have a picture-perfect Walt Disney World vacation, Sandra. Please come back and see us again real soon!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
