Solo trip for my 23rd birthday in January. I have Tusker House, Chef Mickey's, Akershus, and CRT. Im really nervous about eating alone. Will people look at me funny? Will someone help me take pics? I've dined solo before but never with character ...eek!

    Hi Nynke!

Happy (almost) birthday, and congratulations on your upcoming Disney World vacation!  I can't think of a better place to celebrate!  (I bet that doesn't surprise you given my role on the Moms Panel.)  Many people, including several Moms on this panel, have indulged in a "solo" trip to Disney, and while everyone's list of "must do's" is different, the feedback is universally positive!   It is not at all uncommon to see people travelling to "the World" alone.    You certainly won't have to compete with anyone to ensure your cover your most desired attractions!  It sounds like you have some wonderful reservations booked, and should plan to have a fabulous time!  As for pictures with the characters, don't worry a bit.  The servers and support staff at the restaurants will be more than happy to help you capture some fantastic shots!  Simply ask for help as the characters approach your table.

    Have a great trip!
