Hello Christina Helen and thanks for bringing such an important question to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel where as the current UK Mum it's my pleasure to assist you.
As Roy O. Disney proclaimed during the opening ceremony of Walt Disney World Resort back on October 1st 1971
“May Walt Disney World bring joy and inspiration and new knowledge to all who come to this happy place… a Magic Kingdom where the young at heart of all ages can laugh and play and learn together.” I really must say I do think he was speaking directly to folks like you who truly are young at heart!
I'm over the moon to know you're planning to celebrate such a milestone occasion as your 70th birthday within the magic of Disney where for sure you'll be surrounded by pixie dust and enchantment on your special day. Please be sure to collect a complimentary "
I'm celebrating" badge or button as our American hosts call them which are available from most
Guest Relations locations; wearers of these cute badges are often wished a happy birthday by Cast Members and other Guests alike.
Dining at Disney is a huge part of my own families jolly holidays and with such a fantastic variety of Quick Service dining locations on property it's often tough to make a choice! I can totally understand your concerns when trying to negotiate both a food tray and a walking cane and would absolutely suggest requesting the nearest Cast Member to assist you to your table - I know they'd be only too delighted to help where possible. Additionally did you know Guests can take advantage of
Mobile Ordering from select Quick Service dining locations? Ordering ahead of time with Mobile Ordering could at least save some time and energy having to stand in-line.
