    Will there be a soft opening at the California Grill before the formal opening on the 9 September. We would love to eat there on the 5th September as it is our 5 anniversary. Will walk ups be accepted as no ADR's are being accepted before the 9th.

    Hi Katrina!  First of all, let me congratulate you and wish you a very Happy 5th Anniversary!  I wish I had good news for you, but unfortunately the California Grill at Disney's Contemporary Resort is not opening until Sept. 9, so that is why you are unable to make any advance reservations.  There are still plenty of wonderful dining options that you could choose from though.  Have you considered one of the Epcot restaurants, like Monsieur Paul or Coral Reef?  Or if you want to go all out, you could check Victoria & Albert's at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort.  Any of these restaurants will still give you a wonderful dining experience, and are great places to celebrate an anniversary!

    I'm sorry I didn't have better news for you Katrina, but I hope you are still able to make a reservation for your special dinner, and I wish you the happiest of vacations at Walt Disney World.  Have a magical anniversary!
