Will my social security card work as a form of ID if my license doesn’t arrive in time

    Hey Jesus!

    Welcome to planDisney!

You must be so excited about your trip next week to the Happiest Place on Earth! It’s such an exciting time to visit with the grand opening of Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway. This fun and wacky adventure will take you through Mickey and Minnie’s cartoon based on your favorite Mickey shorts. You’ll hop aboard a train with Goofy as your conductor so what could go wrong? Well, I don’t want to spoil it for you so you’re going to have to ride it in order to find out! Don’t forget that at this time there is no stand-by line and this attraction can only be ridden using the complimentary virtual queue on the Disneyland app or with the purchase of an Individual Lightning Lane.

It sounds like you either purchased the SoCal Resident Ticket or an Imagine Key. On your first visit, both of those options do require a valid government-issued ID or Drivers License for proof of residency. You mentioned that your Driver's License may not arrive in time for your trip. Since you already went to the DMV and got the process started, the temporary Driver's License and paperwork you received at the DMV will work for your proof of residency. I would also make sure you had other items with your name on them like a credit card or Social Security card.

Well Jesus, it looks like you’re all set for your trip. If something else comes up please let us know.

Remember, always believe in the Magic!
