    What are the soccer tournaments like at the ESPN Wide World of Sports? How is the competition there? My family and 2 others are thinking of registering our daughter’s (age 8) in the 3v3 tournament in April 2020.

    Hi, Kathryn!  It's always great to have the opportunity to help out a fellow Pennsylvanian here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    I am so excited to hEAR that you are thinking about registering your daughter for an event at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex!  I'm sure that your daughter and her friends would really get a kick out of participating in one of the Disney 3v3 Soccer Championships.  The ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex has a very professional feel to it.  It is an amazing and magical experience for young athletes who have the opportunity to play there.  They truly get to live out that, "I'm going to Walt Disney World," MVP moment!

    Young athletes from all over the world travel to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex to participate in events, so you will see quite a high level of talent among the participants.  The webpage for the Disney 3v3 Soccer Championships lists the competition level as "moderate."  I spoke with a former Disney Parks Moms Panelist whose children participated in this particular event.  She told me that she would even go as far as to say the competition level was "moderate to high."  While the Disney 3v3 Soccer Championships might not be the best option for beginners, if your daughter is up for a challenge, I think this could be an incredible experience for her.
