    My soccer team is planning to have a reunion in Disney World next january in 2012. Is early january but after New Years like the 4th-10th a good time to come? and when will the prices and specials going on at that time be available? thanks so much!

    Hi there Ashley! I've been playing soccer for many years and I would love to plan a reunion with some of my teammates from years ago! It sounds like you all will have a blast next year!

    Disney doesn't usually publish their special rates too far in advance. In fact, the details for certain summer specials were just released in the last few weeks. I would start looking for specials in June which I think is still a little early. Advance Dinning Reservation (407) WDW-DINE requests begin at 180 days from the beginning of your trip. Depending on the amount of people in your party you may have enough for a Grand Gathering here is a number for that reservation (407) 934-7639!

    The dates that you have picked out are during Value season for THIS year which are some of the lowest prices. That being said, Disney does change their rates periodically and for specific events. Like this year, during your dates, they had Value season from January 2-5 then they raised rates for Disney Marathon weekend from January 6-8 then it's Value season again until the 13th. If you don't mind the 20,000 plus runners converging into Walt Disney World for the weekend, you and your teammates will have a wonderful time. I myself may be there to run in the event! I have heard so many great stories from this year's Marathon and Half Marathon that I am very excited about next year!!! If you have some runners, maybe you all could run together!!! That would be a great group experience for all of you!
