Hiya, Chris! Welcome to planDisney, and thank you for your question! I love helping Guests make the most of their visits and experience as much of
Disneyland Resort as possible.
Park hopping gives you the best of both worlds. With your
California Resident Park Hopper ticket, you will start your Disney day by choosing either Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park as your first stop. Once the clock strikes 11 a.m., you can hop over to the other park easy and quick, as long as park capacity allows. The great news is that after you have scanned into your starting park and the hopping window opens, you can hop back and forth as many times as you like. Capacity closures are rare and usually only happen on major holidays or special events, but it is still good to keep in mind that it could happen.
Chris, your visit is just around the corner! I am so excited about a new treat that has made its debut at
Golden Horseshoe in Frontierland. If you are anything like me, I love sweet treats. The
Disneyland Churro is my absolute favorite, and the Cookie Butter Churro Sundae is on my list for my upcoming visit!
I took a peek at the schedule for your visit day, and it currently looks like the
Paint the Night Parade is happening at 8:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. This Parade is a favorite of mine! With over one million lights, this Parade is as bright as it is fun! I hope you get to experience it! If you want to ensure an amazing viewing location, I recommend the
Plaza Inn Paint the Night Dining Package. With a delicious lunch and a voucher for reserved viewing for the 1st Parade showing, this is great way to enjoy some of Disneyland’s yummiest fares and not have to wait for an extended length of time along the Parade route to secure great viewing!
Chris, I hope your visit is filled with fun, sweet moments, and plenty of pixie dust. If you have any more questions as your trip gets ever closer, we are always here to help.
Kimberly
