I am a socal resident and would like to purchase a Magic Key. With a monthly payment purchase plan can I give more than the standard down payment in order to reduce my monthly payments? If so, is that only available at the ticket booths at the park?

    Hello, Jose!

Welcome, and thank you for visiting planDisney with your question. I’m very excited about the new Magic Key program and can’t wait to get back to the Happiest Place on Earth more often with the help of a Magic Key pass. It sounds like you feel the same way!

As a California resident, you can set up a monthly payment plan after making an initial down payment toward the pass of your choice. However, $179 is the only down payment amount allowed for the monthly payment plan at this time, and the remaining balance you owe will be made in equal payments for 12 months. Don’t forget that if you become a Magic Key holder in the first 66 days the program is offered, you'll receive an exclusive welcome package in the mail that includes limited-edition gifts!

I hope this answers your question, Jose, and that your next visit to the Disneyland Resort is perfectly pixie-dusted!

    Wishing you magic,
