I am a Socal resident but don’t have california ID. We just moved and bought the California Resident pass. The card we used to purchase had a billing address here, so was that and our and our proof of residence? Or when we show up can we get in with WA IDs

Hi Aidan! Thanks for dropping by planDisney.

Both the SoCal special ticket offer and Imagine Key pass have residency requirements and proof of eligible residence is required for purchase and entrance to the theme parks. Disneyland Resort requires a government-issued photo ID to establish eligible residency. Unfortunately, an ID from another state won't work. It's fantastic that you've moved close by and are planning to take advantage of that proximity to the magic, but if you don't yet have a valid government-issued photo ID that reflects your new address, you'll want to begin the process as soon as possible to use your pass. Since your visit is right around the corner and I know that process can take a bit, be aware that even the temporary ID you receive will work at the gates when you're asked for proof. I wouldn't want you to have the unmagical experience of being turned away at the gates when you've been looking forward to a fun filled visit!

During your upcoming visit, you can experience the Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. Check out the Disney Eats blog for all the updates on the yummy things you can try out while you're there! There are some Guest favorites returning this year and new items as well.

    Have the best time!
