Hi, we have the SoCal resident 3-Day ticket. We already used 2 days and unfortunately my husband can not join us for our 3rd day at California Adventure Park, is it possible to use his ticket for another person? Should we change his name if so? Thanks.

Hello Silvia, and welcome to planDisney! I'm happy that you and your family have been able to take advantage of the Southern California Resident Ticket. It's a great value on three fun days at the Disneyland Resort.

Silvia, the Disney eTicket Terms and Conditions state that theme park tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable. A ticket is officially assigned to a Guest when they first use it at the entrance gate and have their photo taken by a Cast Member. Once a ticket is used, it cannot be transferred to another Guest.

The Southern California Resident Ticket is valid through May 15, 2025, so is there perhaps another day where you can all go together? It would be a matter of changing the date of the remaining reservation for each ticket. This can be done on the Disneyland website or the Disneyland mobile app. You can use the Theme Park Reservation Availability tool to see if there are any open dates that may work for you.

Of course, you can also keep your reservation and go on the day you planned. Maybe your husband can join you for part of the visit, such as later in the evening, to watch World of Color? He could also modify his remaining reservation and go solo on a different date, taking advantage of the Single Rider service and checking out the merchandise. His ticket would expire if it is not used by May 15, 2025.

When you know which day you will visit, check out the Hours & Events Calendar to see what entertainment will be available and when performances are scheduled. You can also make a list of your top priorities for attractions, shows, snacks, and more. To maximize your time in the park for this visit, consider getting the Lightning Lane Multi Pass to access shorter queues at popular attractions. Dining reservations at sit-down restaurants or mobile ordering at casual dining spots are also two ways to save time.

Silvia, I'll sprinkle some pixie dust and make a wish that your upcoming visit is full of magical moments. If you have any other questions, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney.

    Your pal,
