Hiya, Kyle. Thanks for stopping by with your question!
Unfortunately, a Cast Member recently informed me that there is no substitution using a government-issued ID for proof of residency for the current
SoCal Resident Ticket. A Government-issued photo I.D. - i.e. a Driver's License or state I.D. - is required for admission. The use of bank statements, utility bills, lease agreements, student IDs, etc. will not be accepted for proof of residency for these tickets. I'm sorry if this is disappointing, Kyle! Hopefully, with around three months left of this offer, you can get your IDs updated in time.
Please know that while you may be able to buy the Southern California Resident Ticket online based on your MyDisney Account billing address, the first time you go to use the tickets at the
Disneyland Resort theme parks, a Cast Member will verify that your address is within the qualifying Zip codes (between 90000 and 93599) for this offer. I have seen people turned away at the gates for not having ID, and it is not a magical start to the day!
Kyle, there are so many
awesome events happening at the Disneyland Resort in 2025. So I hope you're able to get your hands on a new ID. Thanks again for stopping by, Kyle. Please let us know if you have any other questions!
Have a magical day,
Melissa
