Will there be soap, shampoo, conditioner and body wash in hotel rooms? Are rooms equipped with hair dryers and a mini-fridge and microwave?

Hi there, Joanne, and welcome to planDisney!

You're only a few sleeps away from Mickey Mouse hugs and endless DOLE Whips. Disney World in the springtime is one of the best times of year to tap into the magic. The EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival is in full bloom and the weather mostly feels just right.

I love that you've decided to stay on property for your upcoming visit. You get complimentary self-parking, free transportation to theme parks and beyond (the Disney Skyliner and the Monorail to name a couple), and you never have to leave the "Disney bubble." You'll be happy to know that  the Disney World Resort hotels also come with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and even a bar of soap. With the addition of towels, you're all set. Side note: Even though I bring my own body wash from home, I still somehow end up using the wonderfully scented ones available in the hotel's bathroom. Using it sends the signal to my brain that I'm officially in Disney vacation mode.

Corded hair dryers are also available in Disney Resort hotels. And all hotels come with at least a mini fridge or bigger, depending on which room type and hotel you're visiting. Coffee makers are standard in all rooms as well. Now, microwaves are a different story. They are usually found in Deluxe Villa rooms, Cabins, and Family Suites. I highly recommend letting a friendly, front desk Cast Member know that you'd like to have access to a microwave. They should be able to give you the best advice about your situation.

Joanne, I hope that you found this answer helpful. If you have any additional Disney vacation planning questions, please revisit us here at planDisney. See you real soon!

    Magic always,
