Welcome to planDisney, Sarah. I'm happy to answer your question today.
Becoming an
Annual Passholder at the
Walt Disney World Resort is
such an exciting prospect. And just think: during some parts of the year, you'll be living much closer to the theme parks and can pop by much more often. Want to stroll through
EPCOT and explore the
latest festival offerings? You can do that! Want to be one of the first to experience a new attraction or experience? Just hop in the car and be on your way! And now that Annual Passholders can pop into a park after 2 p.m. without a
Theme Park Reservation, excluding
Magic Kingdom Park on Saturdays and Sundays, you have more flexibility than ever (blockout dates apply)! Can you tell I'm
really excited for you?
According to the Walt Disney World Resort website, the main forms accepted for proof of residency are a valid Florida driver’s license (with a Florida address), a valid Florida state-issued ID card (with a Florida address), or a valid Florida-based military ID. However, there
are alternatives that you can use instead, which include a monthly mortgage statement, bills, policies, registration, or mail. These cannot be more than 2 months old. For more specifics, you can view the
Proof of Residency page of the website.
As an Annual Passholder, you'll get access to exciting
discounts and perks. Plus, you'll have a front-row seat to
all of the new developments at the resort. Those
Walt Disney Imagineers are always up to something...and you'll be one of the first to experience everything new and exciting. Also, don't forget all the
benefits that are available for Florida residents too! You've hit the Walt Disney World Resort jackpot, my friend. Enjoy it!
