Hello, Lori! Welcome to our helpful and magical corner of planDisney!
Your
Halloween on the High Seas Disney cruise is fast approaching, and I’m so excited for you! I love visiting the
Disney Island Destinations and purposely plan my itineraries so that I can sail there, because they’re some of my favorite places on Earth. There are so many fun activities to do there, including snorkeling, which my husband and daughter also love. I would be happy to answer your question regarding the snorkel gear on the islands.
You’ll be happy to know that since snorkel gear is not on the
Prohibited and Restricted Items list, you are more than welcome to bring it on board your sailing to use at the Disney Island Destinations! My recommendation is to also check this list again closer to your sail date, just in case something has changed.
Just in case you change your mind about bringing them to save a bit of luggage space for extra Disney Cruise Line souvenirs, you are also more than welcome to
rent snorkel
gear at the snorkeling stations on the islands. This is what my husband and daughter usually do, and they find it very convenient. You can either rent them ahead of time through a Port Adventure on the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App or decide to rent them last-minute while on the islands. Just know that offerings are always subject to availability, so I always advise renting them ahead of time.
Lori, I hope that I have helped put your mind at ease about bringing your snorkel gear on board. I wish you fantastic memories on board your cruise! Please sail back to planDisney if you have any other questions.
Bibbidi-Bobbidi-BOO,
Rana
