Hi Erin!
Welcome to planDisney! That sounds like the most magical night! Now, let’s work out the logistics!
Happily Ever After fireworks is about 18 minutes long, so you should be able to fully enjoy the show before heading over to check in for your
Cinderella’s Royal Table reservation.
If you’re hoping to see the projections on Cinderella Castle, I recommend watching from the front of the castle, but off to the right or left sides. That way, once the show is over, you can take one of the paths on either side of the castle to get back to the check-in area for Cinderella’s Royal Table.
It’s good to note that you may not be able to walk through the castle immediately after the show. So, if you’re looking at the park map on the
My Disney Experience app, you’ll notice one path that goes off toward Fantasyland and one that goes toward Liberty Square. Both of those paths then turn toward the backside of the castle. One of those will be what you want to take!
If you go this route, be aware that you may be walking against crowds exiting the park. So, make sure your group stays together, and you’re a little extra patient. You’ll also want to make sure you find your spot for the fireworks early, as watching from in front of the castle is a popular spot.
Now, if seeing the projections isn’t a high priority, I highly recommend watching the fireworks from behind the castle near
Prince Charming Regal Carrousel. From that angle, you’ll get fireworks all around you, and I have to admit…it really feels special!
From there, you’ll be close to the check-in area for your dinner reservation, and there will be much fewer crowds to navigate. So it will feel like a more laid-back experience after the fireworks are over. Plus, you won’t need to stake out your spot for the fireworks early, which will give you more time to enjoy the park before the show.
I hope that helps! And that you have THE best trip! If you have any other questions, feel free to come back and visit us. We’ll see you real soon!
