Welcome BACK, Christy!
You sound just like me when I was planning my
Mouseketeer's first visit to meet Mickey at Walt Disney World Resort a few years ago. Guests are allowed to bring in as many outside snacks, meal items and beverages as they wish, and there currently is no limit as to how many bags guests may bring with them. The only prohibited items are outside alcohol, items in glass containers (with the exception of baby food in glass jars), and bags and coolers larger than 24" x 15" x 18". Do note that each bag will be searched, so it's faster to bring only what you will need + a few spares.
While children under three are allowed to share meal items with those who do have a
Disney Dining Plan at no additional charge, you technically can order beverages, additional side or meal items, or even an entire kids' meal as an out-of-pocket expense when redeeming your meal entitlements. Alternatively, try to book
buffet and family-style meals as littles receive their own plate and standard beverage for no additional cost. (Beverages includes milk, juice, tea and soda.)
Many Dining Locations do carry low-fat white milk and low-fat chocolate milk (Nesquick). If you need whole or a milk substitute, my go-to locations are the Quick-Service Food Courts and sundries shops at Disney Resort Hotels, as well as the
in-park Starbucks locations. And bonus tip: should you need juice, formula or children's medicine, stop by the
Baby Care Centers.
We'll See You Real Soon, Christy!
