What are some must have snacks that can be purchased using snack credits? We normally get the DDP and have several snack credits left at the end of our trip. Would like to make the most of the snack credits during trip on Dec 7 - Dec 12. Thank you!!!

Hello Stefanie!  So happy you've stopped by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  We have got to solve your dilemma of having left over Snack Credits.  I kid you not, the snacks at Walt Disney World are one of our favorite parts of vacation.  My family and I spend a lot of time at home talking and dreaming about what we are going to be spending our snack credits on.

The #1 best way you can use a snack credit, in my opinion of course, is a Dole Whip Float at Aloha Isle at Magic Kingdom.  A dole whip float is a soft serve ice cream, I recommend getting the vanilla and pineapple swirl, topped with fresh pineapple juice.  This treat is huge and you will need a spoon and a straw to enjoy it. The dole whip float is absolutely big enough to share but my family's motto is why would you - it's that good. Another great snack on the Disney Dining Plan is a carrot cake cookie at the Writer's Stop in Disney's Hollywood Studios.  This snack is two large cookies with a big swirl of cream cheese frosting sandwiched right in the middle.  The carrot cake cookie reminds me so much of a whoopie pie, it is very soft and moist. I like to enjoy mine for breakfast but they are delicious any time of the day.  There are several treats that are considered snacks on the Disney Dining Plan at Goofy's Candy Company at Downtown Disney.  My husband loves the Mickey shaped rice crispy treats there.  His favorite is topped with butterfinger candy and has chocolate drizzled on it.  There is even an option where you can design your own rice crispy treat, marshmallow or pretzel stick with your favorite toppings and drizzle.  You can really make a one of a kind creation with your snack credit.

Those are just a few of the many many snacks we love to enjoy.  I hope I've given you a few ideas for your next vacation.  If you have any other questions about the Disney Dining Plan or anything else, please feel free to ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
