Can you take snacks in to Disney?

    Hi Kristin,

It's always a pleasure to welcome guests from the Keystone State to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I spent my entire childhood and college years in Pennsylvania. I'm glad you stopped by!

Guests are often surprised to hear it but, yes, you are welcome to bring snacks into the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. In fact, it's highly advisable that you do so especially if you have little ones who are accustomed to specific snacks that may not be available for purchase while on vacation.

Older children (and their adult companions) can also appreciate snacks at various times throughout their theme park days. For instance, when I travel with the high school seniors on our annual school trip, I distribute granola bars to each of them to carry into the theme parks. Then, as we are doing our behind-the-scenes tours of Magic Kingdom Park and Epcot, grumbling bellies won't distract them from the fun.

Let us know if you have any additional questions as you plan for your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort. My friends and I here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel would love to help!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
    Jill
