Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Ann. We're delighted you're here! It looks like your Walt Disney World Resort vacation is just about to begin. How exciting!
As a mom of three, I always have snacks on hand. The last thing I need is a "hangry" kiddo! I'm pleased to tell you that
you may certainly take snacks into the theme parks with you. Before we leave our Disney Resort hotel in the morning, I'm sure to pack several snacks in our park bag. I usually pull a few out when we're standing in line for an attraction. They fill my kids' bellies and keep my kids occupied while we're waiting!
It's important to note that
loose ice is not permitted in the theme parks. If you take perishable snacks into the theme parks with you like yogurt or fresh fruit, be sure to have reusable ice packs or bagged ice with you. I always pack a box of gallon-sized Ziploc bags in our luggage. I fill one bag with ice from our hotel's ice machine every morning and then toss it into our park bag to keep our snacks nice and cold!
Did you know that you can have
groceries delivered to your Disney Resort hotel? There are lots of grocery delivery services available like Instacart, Walmart, and Amazon Now, but I most prefer to order our groceries from Garden Grocer. This Orlando-based delivery service has been fueling my family's pixie-dusted adventures for years! If you order groceries to be delivered to your hotel, they'll be dropped off at Bell Services. When you're ready to take them to your room, you can just stop by the Bell Services desk to pick them up!
I hope this was helpful, Ann. I'm wishing you a magical stay at the Walt Disney World Resort!
Ashley
