Are there any snack items available at table service restaurants? For example we were interested in going to the Sci-Fi Dine-In for a shake or dessert and were wondering if we could use just a snack credit.

Hello Katherine! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Dining Locations at Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks often feel like attractions unto themselves. I always book Advanced Dining Reservations at a themed Dining Location such as Be Our Guest Restaurant or Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen to ensure that even our meals are surrounded by Disney magic.

When you make Advanced Dining Reservations at most Walt Disney World Resort Dining Locations, you are not required to order a full meal (this is not the case for Character Dining, Dinner Shows or Dining Locations with set menus). If you want to make Advanced Dining Reservations for only a Sci-Fi Specialty Shake at Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater at Disney's Hollywood Studios, then go right ahead. You are also able to redeem Disney Dining Plan credits for applicable snacks on menus. Just look for the Disney Dining Plan logo beside snacks on your menu or ask your server which snacks are available for the Disney Dining Plan.

Some Table Service Dining Locations have an adjacent window or kiosk that serves similar fare to what you would expect to receive inside, such as with Yak & Yeti™ Restaurant in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and the Yak & Yeti Local Food Cafes located outside.

    Bon  Appétit!
