can snack credits be used for quick service purchases? For example, can 2 or 3 snack credits be used to purchase a Quick Service entree?

Hi Fredrick! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I just love the convenience that the Disney Dining Plan adds to a Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Currently, the official word is that Snack Credits cannot be combined and used to purchase a Quick Service meal. However, you could technically use a Snack Credit to order a drink and another to order certain side items at select Quick Service locations. This would be one way of using your Snack Credits for a light meal. Be sure to look for the white and purple Disney Dining Snack icons at Disney Quick Service locations and food carts throughout the Theme Parks and Disney Springs. Some “Snacks” are actually quite filling, have you seen the size of those yummy Mickey Pretzels?!

Also, some Quick Service restaurants and Disney Resort hotel gift shops will allow you to convert your Quick Service meal into three Snacks! We had a few Quick Service meals leftover on our last visit, and the Cast Member at Disney’s Wilderness Lodge allowed us to use them for pre-packaged goodies to bring home. This is subject to change and I have heard varying reports of its availability, so it’s always wise to ask.

I hope you have a most magical day!
