Can a snack credit be used for an alcoholic beverage?

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Sherilyn! We’re so happy that you stopped by with your question.

There are 3 different Disney Dining Plans offered to Disney Resort Hotel Guests; Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan, Disney Dining Plan, and Disney Deluxe Dining Plan. No matter which plan you are on, they all include 2 snacks per night per person (ages 3+). Unfortunately, you are unable to use a snack entitlement on an alcoholic beverage. However, there are so many snacks to choose from at different Quick-Service restaurants, most Outdoor Carts, and even at select merchandise locations!

For those Guests 21 and older, you are able to enjoy an alcoholic beverage with your meal entitlement, on any of the three Disney Dining Plans. So I recommend doing that! Then you can enjoy a non-alcoholic beverage or Mickey shaped snack later on during the day with your snack entitlement! Hakuna Matata, there will be plenty of food and drinks for you to enjoy while on the Disney Dining Plan! My kids live off all the snacks during our trips. Churros, Mickey Pretzels, and Popcorn are just a few snacks you can find in our stroller, well what’s left of them. (Tip: Many locations now offer Mobile Food & Beverage Ordering. Be sure to use that to pre order your meals and save time).

Don’t forget to schedule those dining reservations! Many of my favorite restaurants tend to fill up quickly!

    Bon Appétit!
