Hi Amanda!
This is a great question as there are
over 350+ dining locations, stalls, kiosks and outdoor kitchens at Walt Disney World Resort. With yumminess everywhere you walk, Food FOMO (fear of missing out) is a real thing! Luckily for us, Disney Dining Plan Snack Entitlements can be used for so many nibbles and drinks that Walt Disney World Resort is really like a secret Eat Park, too.
At most Quick-Service Dining Locations where fries are featured, a side portion does qualify as a Snack Entitlement. Two good ways to get an idea of what does and doesn't count as a snack credit is to Google the name of a specific dining location and view the image results. Items that do qualify on the Disney Dining Plans have a purple and white checkered square next to the items price. (Pro Tip: I like to take this method one step further by searching for the dining location name + current month and year to get the most up-to-date results.) Another way to check out some menus is to play with the
mobile ordering feature in the My Disney Experience Mobile App. Select one of the 20+ participating locations, which will pull up the menu for that time of day. (Some locations have all-day menus while others have menus specifically built for that meal time.) Items that qualify as a Disney Dining Plan Snack will be noted below the items description.
Pro Tip: Items that qualify as Disney Dining Plan Snacks range in price between $1 (for a bottle of water) all the way up to $8 for more specialty items. Casey's Corner in Magic Kingdom Park has Chili Cheese Fries ($5.50) and Flame Tree BBQ in Disney's Animal Kingdom has fries topped with pulled pork and cheese ($6.70), both of which count as snack credits. So definitely get the loaded version to maximize the snack's value.
We'll See You Real Soon, Amanda!
