It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Marjorie!
Wow, you certainly are visiting Walt Disney World Resort at a really exciting time! You're going to be one of the first guests to be able to jet off to the planet Batuu when
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opens the day after you arrive for your vacation. I'm sure you're eager to get those plans into place, and while we don't have any official word yet on how things will work when you're boarding
Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run at
Disney's Hollywood Studios, we can have a look at how it all happens at
Disneyland Resort and maybe take a few clues from there.
Disney is committed to making the theme parks accessible to all guests, so when
Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run opened at
Disneyland Park in May,
Disability Access Service (DAS) was made available for guests who need it and it continues to be offered today. While this doesn't necessarily mean that it's guaranteed to work the same way at Walt Disney World Resort, I think it offers a clue as to what we might expect when you leave for your own journey to a galaxy far, far away next month. If you have any questions about Disability Access Service or would like to discuss your family's own accessibility needs, please contact
Disability Services at (407) 560-2547 or email disability.services@disneyparks.com.
Have a magical day, Marjorie!
