Welcome to planDisney, Jeffrey! Walt Disney World does have designated smoking areas at the theme parks, resorts, and Disney Springs, and I'd be happy to help you find these areas using the My Disney Experience app.
To find a
designated smoking area, open the
My Disney Experience app and click on the "Pin" icon next to the "Home" icon at the bottom of the screen. This will open the map of the resort area. In the top menu, swipe until you see the "Guest Services" icon and tap to toggle it on. Quite a few things will appear on the map, and one of them is the designated smoking areas. These areas are represented by an icon of a cigarette giving off smoke. To simplify the view, tap "Show List" in the bottom right corner and scroll to "Designated Smoking Areas." Tap it, select "Find on Map," then zoom in on
Disney Springs. You will see there are 5 designated smoking areas at Disney Springs at the following locations:
- Near the Marketplace pedestrian bridge adjacent to Earl of Sandwich
- The Grapefruit Garage area behind Basin
- The Orange Garage area between the bus station and the Coca-Cola Store
- Near Splitsville Luxury Lanes and Everglazed Donuts & Cold Brew
- The Strawberry Parking Lot area just past the Cirque du Soleil venue
You can also find other designated smoking areas around the resort area, just drag the map to your Disney Resort hotel, a theme park, or any other location you plan to visit during your vacation. You can always speak with a friendly Cast Member if you have questions about the smoking policy or need help finding a designated smoking area.
