Jambo, Paul!
I'm so glad you stopped by planDisney today with such a
scent-sational question! In my opinion, one of the best aspects of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation is how you can not only see the magic around you, but you can taste, touch, and smell it as well.
Judging from your question, Paul, I think you'll agree that the signature Walt Disney World Resort scents play such an important role in the immersive theming found throughout The Most Magical Place on Earth. For me, nothing feels more magical than the aromas of Main Street, U.S.A.,
Avatar Flight of Passage, and the Great Ceremonial House of
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, so the ability to be welcomed home with them each day sounds absolutely delightful!
While the specific Disney-owned scents are proprietary, I'm thrilled to let you know that you can find Disney-inspired scents for purchase at Walt Disney World Resort's
Disney Springs! At
Bowes Signature Candles you'll find candles, wax melts, diffusers, and sprays inspired by beloved attractions, resorts, and snacks. Additionally, a quick internet search populated several independent candle and fragrance companies that sell Dinsey-inspired scents as well. Since you're partial to the Africa portion of
Soarin' Around the World, I did a bit of research and suggest that you look for the Disney-inspired 'Grass' scents to scratch that magical itch from home.
As a bonus tip since you're clearly a fan of Disney scents, on your next magical vacation I encourage you to check out the newly unveiled olfactory-inspired scavenger hunt in Magic Kingdom Park's Storybook Circus,
Smellephants on Parade presented by Scentsy. This complimentary experience is sure to delight Mouseketeers of all ages as they explore one of my favorite corners of Magic Kingdom Park. I can't wait to check it out myself!
I hope this was helpful, Paul, and that you'll stop back by
planDisney with any other vacation planning questions you may have. We like to think that nobody
nose more about maximizing the magic than our team!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
