Hi there, Robert!
I like to think of planDisney as its own
“it’s a small world” community because we love sharing our unique perspectives—and vacation favorites. So, I’m so happy that you stopped by to ask us this question. After all, your adventure begins very soon.
The Walt Disney World website is jam-packed with useful tools to help plan your Disney vacation. One of my go-to webpages is the
Hours & Events Calendar. There, you can see theme park hours (including
Early Theme Park Entry and Extended Evening Hours information) and special events. You can even filter the results by specific dates and theme parks.
If there are any known attraction closures, they will be shown at the bottom of the theme parks’ hours and events. For example, the rethemed
Country Bear Jamboree is shown under “Closed for Refurbishment” until July 17 in the Magic Kingdom Park filter. I just plugged in your arrival date and selected Magic Kingdom Park. Luckily, at the moment, there are no foreseen closures on that date for that theme park! You should be good to go to take a trip around the world on the iconic “it’s a small world” in
Fantasyland.
AN EXTRA GEM: Of course, anything can happen, so be sure to keep an eye on the
My Disney Experience App during your visit. If you see a little star symbol on the map near “it’s a small world,” it signifies that the ride is temporarily closed.
Robert, give us a holler if you have any other questions about your future visits to Walt Disney World and beyond.
I’m all ears! Magic always,
LeAndra
